£90k-£110k + £7.5k Car

Up to 80% bonus (40% annual bonus/ 40% LTIP Award)

  • Role: Group Head of Strategic Credit Risk Relationships

  • Location: Kent or Wolverhampton - 3 days a week in office (may be able to offer 4 day compressed week)

  • Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + £7.5k car allowance + 40% Bonus + 30 days holiday

 

A specialist Bank are looking for a Group Head of Strategic Credit Risk Relationships to complement their team… and what a company to join!

 

They primarily focus on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market such as BTL, Residential, Development Finance, Asset Finance, as well as savings, bonds, ISA's etc. which makes them a leader within their field. Their teams are split in a way that you aren't seen as just a number and you will be part of something transformative that will have a major impact.

 

Anyway, the role!

 

The main purpose of this position is to to lead the Bank’s strategic relationships with core external credit bureau's and fully develop and optimise those relationships so the Bank deliver on key Modernisation and BAU delivery targets while acting as an internal credit bureau SME and technical relationship lead.

 

With main responsibilities looking like:

  • Lead the bank’s credit bureau relationships and related contractual engagements to ensure a cost effective strategy is implemented.

  • Act as credit bureaux SME and business contact lead in the Group’s change strategy / Modernisation programme, developing credit solution strategies alongside the wider Credit Risk / FCT teams.

  • Work with the banks credit bureau and other strategic credit data suppliers to ensure the products suites employed by the Bank deliver optimal results whilst maintaining a clear view of related data cost management.

  • Partner the wider Credit team to drive the on-going development of lending and collections strategy (including pre-arrears) across all of the Banks product streams, through qualitative and quantitative analysis of bureau data and MI.

  • Represent the Credit Risk team in strategic projects and initiatives across the organisation on credit bureau related matters.

  • Attend bureau and industry led events to ensure the Bank remains at the forefront of thinking on the use of bureau based products and technology within its lending and savings businesses.

  • As the owner of all Credit Bureau Data, ensure that all data received from credit bureau into the Bank is clearly understood and supported by data definitions and dictionaries.

 

So, if you have experience in:

 

  • Leading, building and maintaining strategic relationships with core external credit bureau's

  • Contract negotiations

  • Being part of the modernisation by acting as credit bureaux SME (leading the relationships)

  • Looking at how data is transferred between a Bank and credit bureau (Generation 9 being replaced and how new data link will work/affect them)

  • Management of a team

  • Working for/with bureau's previously
