• Role: Senior Credit Analyst (Commercial/Trade/Corporate Lending)

• Location: Redhill - 2 days a week

We are working with the UK’s #1 Gas supplier in the UK who are in need of a Senior Credit Risk Analyst (Commercial Credit Underwriter) to join their team due to their numerous acquisitions and a huge push within their renewable energy efforts.

 

They aim to be one of the world's top five renewable power producers by 2030 and they continue to grow heavily to make sure they achieve this. They have also acquired a green energy UK Customer portfolio covering 6000 customers. This acquisition enables them to move closer to their goal of increasing their renewable energy customer base. This is owing to 97% of the transferring power customers having green certificate backed contracts which will be honoured as part of the deal.

 

So, anyway, who do they need?

 

This is a key role responsible for limiting the bad debt risk through enforcement of the credit risk policy and thorough analysis and understanding of the customer portfolio. The role involves the management of credit risk processes across a variety of sales channels including detailed credit analysis, relationship management, portfolio analysis and credit insurance management. The key function is to add value to the business while preventing financial loss or unsecured risk.

 

Their offices are based in Redhill and looking for someone to be office based 2 days a week with the rest working from home.

 

So, if you have experience in:

• Commercial/Trade/Business/Corporate Underwriting - a must!

• Have your own Underwriting Authority

• Reporting on and writing Credit Reports/ Papers

• Reviewing annual financial statements

• Credit Policy knowledge

• Analysis or MI experience would be a plus!
